Just Brows-(ing)…

Aging can be a challenge on your face, the wrinkles/creases, the drying skin, the puffy under-eye area…but what’s with the sparse eye brow thing? For those of you that over-plucked your brows in the 90’s all I can say is, “you had it coming!”  If you are like me and always followed the tweezing rules (only the bottom outer corners get tweezed and only a few hairs at a time) you probably feel somewhat screwed.

Putting all feelings aside, there is a solution to this patchy eye brow problem. Josie Maran Magic Brows Argan Pen is a dual ended pen with a fine pointed marker on one side and a setting powder on the other. It may sound complicated to use but it couldn’t be any simpler. The felt tip side fills in the patches and the powdered side sets your work for a finish that will last all day and never run down your face! At $29 Canadian (at Sephora.com, which means it’s cheaper anywhere else), it will last you many, many months and only comes in one shade so there’s no difficulty finding your perfect match. As someone with dark brows, I apply it with a slightly heavier hand, if your brows are lighter in color then go gently.

This item contains no sulphates or parabens which is a huge plus in my book. What it does contain is argan oil which is naturally rich in antioxidants and helps to nourish your skin and hair.

This product passes my ‘3 TEST’, which is how I deem products totally worthy of your dollars. If I’ve purchased something more than 3 times it meets the ‘3 TEST’ criteria!

So be bold with your brows and kiss the Kojak spots goodbye!

Who loves ya baby…

What a great recommendation! Can’t wait to pick mine up today! Love the concept of just one color! Macmillan’s wife would have used it had it been around then, as would Jennifer Hart! Not too sure on Colombo and McCloud!
