Arachnophobia…

noun : pathological fear or loathing of spiders.

I have this… I am certain…my fear of spiders large and small is completely irrational and it paralyzes me.  Which may explain my equally irrational fear of False Eyelashes, I mean come on…it’s like strategically placing little hairy spiders on your eyelids.  Quite frankly the whole concept freaks me out.

I do however love the look of  long, separated, glamorous lashes.  With wedding/prom season upon us I have the solution to getting gorgeous glam lashes without terrorizing the arachnophobes around you.  It’s a two-stepped system but it works, I promise you.

So today’s tag-team recommendation in order of application are:  #1  Diorshow Iconic Overcurl Mascara ($28.50 at Sephora.com) and #2  Givenchy Noir Couture 4 in 1 ($32 at Sephora.com) .  This Dynamic Duo will transform your everyday lashes into works of art.

#1 (Dior) features a rounded brush that promises volume and curl while #2  (Givenchy) has a brush that fits into the corners of your eyes so that every lash gets treated.  Both formulas offer even application and are fortified with nutrients so that your lashes don’t clump, break or lose their luster. Plus neither texture is heavy, so your lashes never feel weighed down.

If all that isn’t enough to get you to switch, think of me, your poor little arachnophobic blogger who has many a time bared witness to tiny little spider-like lashes trying to escape down’s someones face.  It ain’t pretty…

So happy spring/summer event season, be it proms, weddings, graduations whatever the occasion, Lash Out with confidence!

From one arachnophobic to another, great recommendation! Love the look of long and lush lashes without the spider feel! Besides nothing worse then losing your lashes in your dinner and thinking there’s a spider in your salad!!!!

  3. I have a lot of parties coming up, so this will be great to try! thanks!
